Christian sits on the bed. He rummages his bag on the bed and takes out two prescription bottles. A smirk plays on his lips. A plan forms in his mind to ensure the meeting would unfold to his advantage. He takes a prescription nylon from his bag. He opens one prescription bottle and pours out a white pill on his palm. He puts it in the nylon. He does the same for the other prescription bottle and pours out a pink pill into the nylon. Each of the pills play a helpful role to the user but the combination causes a bit of a harm. The combination would cause dizziness and fainting.  Gabriel waits in the conference room for Rose's return. He grows increasingly concerned as minutes pass without a sign of her. The shareholders were leaving little by little. He hopes Rose is not in trouble that could damage her image. Anxiety knots in Gabriel's stomach as he wonders what can be causing the delay.Rose would not just disappear without letting him know.  Luther slowly opens his eyes to the sterile whiteness of the hospital room. The soft hum of machines and the distant murmur of voices greet him as he gets accustomed to his surroundings. His head throbs with a dull ache, and his body still feels a bit heavy. He had hit his head too hard on the asphalt road and now the pain is still not reducing. But this pain is nothing as far as he gets to keep Ariel at his side.The sterile scent of antiseptic invades his senses, and the rhythmic beeping of a heart monitor fills the room. Luther shifts uncomfortably on the crisp, white sheets, realizing that he is hooked up to a tube. As he tries to move, pain shoots through his limbs and head, forcing him to remain still.He did not feel this pain yesterday.
