On that day everything changed. The people I knew, all died. As a matter of fact, everyone died except me.I, Clive Belmont, am the only person alive on this entire planet. As I walk through the destroyed city, I reminisce.The good old days. Just kidding. Life has never been kind to me. Saying that would probably get me kicked right in the face.But it is the truth. After camping outside for a night the next morning felt a little too refreshing.Officially a day has passed since that happened. But I feel more alive than ever.Every single day, I used to wake up, depressed and unsure of the future.I was so paranoid that I even locked my door from the inside.Because, my trust in my parents was gone. I never trusted them as they tried to poison me before. So I got myself a job in the mines.The pay was decent but was a little challenging. But then, it gave me an excuse.I used to work overtime to earn a little extra. Then, I would go and eat outside. Most of the times, I would eat outside.Even my parents were delighted to hear that. I gave up convincing them because they were plain terrified of me.Then I got the idea of moving out. Finding a new home and living alone. But fate was not too kind to me.I needed a guarantor. The dog and I are currently on our way to the capital.I say that but we are walking leisurely. The dog is trotting.The day is fine. Roads are empty. No sound of vehicles but just birds chirping and flying freely. No airplanes or flying machines in the sky. But my inner monologues are becoming more prevalent.I guess this is called loneliness. It has brown fur and a pretty common dog like look.Just like those common house dogs the Americans play with.But it is very intelligent. Spending a night in that town was good. I was able to restock. Why the past tense?Because I have already arrived at the capital. The time skip is staple for a story. So I thought I would omit the rest of my journey.Not like anything special happened in between anyway. I just found a few dead bodies and buried. Like usual. The capital is totally a mess. Most humans lived here. So the damage is mostly visible. But fortunately, one place was unscathed.The city center. Though it's the capital, calling it the capital center was weird. So they named it city center.It was the administrative building that oversaw the capital and its inhabitants.But it was mostly automated. A highly computational A.I. program was created so that it would be automated.And not that many humans worked here. So the building is still standing.But the thing I am after is underground.The data center which stores the worlds knowledge is here.But this stuff is classified. You would ask then how do I know that

Today marks the one month of that. That invasion or should I call it {Extermination} of humanity.Anyway, I am still in the capital. Living in a small house I found unscathed. Probably a new house. The capital built a lot of houses but not everyone could afford them. So most of them were up for sale.This was probably similar. And the house itself is not bad. It had everything from a pantry to bunker.Why bunker? I don't know. Ask the government. Oh…..that's right. The government is gone.I am alone in this whole world. Not alone in a sense. My partner Hazel is with me.For this one month or more like 3 weeks, I have been living here. I have nothing to do. So I studied a little. A little of everything.And I trained. My body and my mind. Both of them have been tempered. My body was not fat. I worked in the mines. So I have some amount of muscles on me. But I built a little more. Trained my agility. A little bit of strength and endurance.Overall my stats went up. This is no RPG game

I should mention the date. About a month has passed. The attack happened on 16 April. Today is 23 of May. A little more than a month. But everyone is gone. Do I have to count? Entering the ship I thought that science fiction had come true.But I can't find anything science related.I mean, where is the bridge? And also, it looks like it's made from steel but it feels different.I search the ship. And after a while, I thought of giving up.I mean, I can't find anything.
