Chapter 7

In a women's dormitory, Lily returned to her room.

Lily found Agatha sitting and drying her hair.

Lily felt a bit concerned for Agatha. "Agatha, are you okay?" she asked cautiously, knowing well how shattered Agatha's heart must be right now. Being deceived in front of everyone was very painful, especially when the one deceiving her was the person she loved the most.

Agatha turned to her. "I'm okay, Lily," she sighed wearily. "I'm really grateful to Ace. Without Ace, I wouldn't have seen Nathan's true nature. Oh, my annoying ex-boyfriend. Nathan is even worse at lying," she smiled with a wounded heart.

Lily sat down next to Agatha, embracing her friend's shoulders. "Be patient, Agatha. All of this happened because God wanted to reveal who Nathan truly is. So, before your love gets too serious and before marriage, at least you know that Nathan is not the right man."

Agatha daydreamed. "I thought Nathan was a wealthy man. But I was wrong; all his money comes from his chubby girlfriend. Huh, I thought he was the boss, spending lavishly. But there's someone supporting him. Hahaha, isn't that funny?" She laughed with a deeply wounded heart, feeling so hurt and disappointed. The Nathan she once adored had now become someone she despised due to his true nature.

"I don't know how my life would have been if Ace hadn't intervened. I was undoubtedly deceived from the beginning to forever, Lily!" Agatha frustratedly cried, tears streaming down her face. She wept.

"Hey, calm down," Lily hugged Agatha. She gently rubbed her fragile back and gave her strength.

"This is why you need to be mature about it. Don't rush into relationships with guys who may not be sincere and good, especially like your boss, Nathan," Lily advised, hoping Agatha wouldn't easily fall for another man's charm.

Agatha cried and clung to Lily tightly. "I regret it, Lily! I regret cheating on Ace just for that jerk Nathan!" She rambled amid her tears.

"Enough, don't cry. Hey, I have a gift from Ace. Oh, this is more suitable as a gift for me," Lily stood up and took the silver bag she had placed on the living room table. She returned to the room and gave the silver bag to Agatha.

Agatha's eyes immediately lit up. "Lily? Is this for me?" She asked, still in disbelief. The silver bag was her dream, although the pink one had also caught her eye. But the silver bag was far more beautiful and expensive. She had even felt jealous when Ace bought the silver bag for Lily.

Lily nodded. "For you, Agatha. Take it; you like this bag."

Agatha couldn't stop smiling. She took the silver bag. "Thank you, Lily," she sighed with relief. She wiped her tears away, and the silver bag given by Lily provided some comfort to her still disappointed and troubled heart.

However, Agatha's smile slowly faded. "Lily, I'm afraid Nathan will retaliate against me. Do you know how hard he slapped me earlier?" Agatha's feelings grew restless and fearful once more.

Agatha shook her head. "Nathan's slap was harsh, Lily. My lips bled! My cheeks still feel hot," Agatha pointed to her reddened cheeks, showing traces of Nathan's handprint on her fair skin.

"Nathan won't retaliate against you, Agatha. He just followed orders from his chubby girlfriend. Oh, her name is Rebecca, I just remembered," Lily reassured Agatha, knowing she was still in shock and scared. Nathan had been quite aggressive and emotional at the mall. And the two slaps had taken everyone by surprise.

Agatha smiled again. "So, Nathan just did it because of Rebecca, right?"

"Yes, maybe," Lily nodded.

Agatha hugged the silver bag given by Lily, but it was also from Ace. "I'll display this on my bag collection shelf. I won't use it outside. Well, some people might recognize this silver bag. And I'll be the one using it, the ex-girlfriend of the millionaire."

Lily chuckled. "Oh my, it's up to you, Agatha."

"Ace! You're still mine until now. I love you, Ace! I cherish you! Forever, you'll be mine, my dear Ace," Agatha's heart exclaimed joyfully, calling out Ace's name loudly. She had a deep affection for the millionaire, and she would never let him go.
