12 Years Later: The Son-in-law's Vengeance

THE PARTY

Abraham and Khloe continued to welcome all the guests that came in personally. They were all wealthy people that could be used which made them important. Suddenly, people around them started to gasp in shock gaining their attention. Looking back, they saw a shocking scene.

Jake was holding Alexa's hand as they walked in.

Suprised by what was going on, Abraham stepped forward leaving what he was doing and Khloe followed. This was unacceptable. Especially since most of the people here had been at Khloe's wedding before. They already knew that Jake was Khloe's hidden husband.

“ Mr. Fisher, long time no see. How have you been doing? Hope your health is better now?” Jake heard Alexa ask as he stood with her.

It was obvious that she was finding trouble but he didn't care. Since they didn't want him there, they would have to take it as they saw him.

“ Is this a joke? Don't you know that Jake is a married man? You were at Khloe's wedding." Abraham said in distain as he looked at Alexa.

“ Oh, the wedding where she wanted to marry someone without telling them that she had been married before? Is it that wedding? I definitely attended it." Alexa said smiling.

" You!” Abraham said about to raise his hand at Alexa when Jake stepped forward to stop him.

“ I wouldn't advise you to do that, Mr. Fisher. Alexa is a part of my family. And I won't allow anyone to be rude to her." A voice said making everyone step back.

Turning around, Jake watched as a woman stepped forward walking in short strides as she moved. Her face was stern but her entire body was screaming how rich she was. From the diamond necklace on her neck to the braclets and her shoes, they were all expensive in six zeroes.

“ Sister." Alexa said surprising Jake.

He had gotten information about his godfather's family the other day while he heard them talk but he had not met any other person except for Alexa. Who was she? And was she a legal child or an illegitimate one?

“ Mrs. Franco. We didn't expect you would actually come. Please." Jake heard his father-in-law say making him suprised.

His father-in-law had clearly expressed his displeasure with the Franco family. Why had he now invited them to Kennedy's campaign?

“Stop causing a scene and come inside." Jake heard the stern woman say before walking away.

Watching the men she had come with enter with her, Jake knew she was a woman of power. Nodding her head, Alexa stepped forward still holding Jake's hand as they attempted to follow but was stopped.

“ What are you doing?” Alexa asked as she looked at Abraham who was holding Jake's other hand to stop him.

“ Can I talk to my son-in-law for a moment?" Abraham asked with a smile but Jake knew better. It wouldn't be good.

“ He's my escort for the night. I can't let him leave my side. You can get talk to him later when he gets home, don't you think?" Jake heard Alexa ask in a serious tone making him almost break out in laughter at her face.

“ Alexa. I said you should follow me. What are you waiting for?” Jake heard Alexa’s sister ask again making him look at his father-in-law's face.

He was clearly not happy. Knowing his father-in-law, he wasn't one to give in for anybody. But yet, he moved out of the way.

“ Thank you." Jake heard Alexa say as they entered inside.

The hall was very beautifully decorated with lots of tables and food on them. The big stage had a beautiful clear glass stand in the middle while at the back was three king-size chairs that were talk had golden coloured. The flowers around the hall were obviously picked fresh and they had been tied and decorated beautifully. Walking in with Alexa, Jake felt all eyes on them from the very beginning. To be honest, they were on the woman who was walking in front of them. Whoever she was, she was obviously well respected by the people around too.

“ Have a sit.” Jake heard one of the waitresses say as she pointed her hand to the tables near the side.

It was a perfect spot considering he wanted to be away from the eyes of people.

“Isn't that Khloe's husband?"

" It's him. I watched the video on the news. He's the one that gatecrashed Khloe's wedding.” Jake heard one of the guests say as he took his seat with Alexa.

The dinner party started and Jake watched as the doors opened revealing his father-in-law and his family. While his father-in-law was in front, Khloe and Kenneth were at the back smiling and waving their hands as the guests clapped for them. From the eyes of others, they looked very dignified and elegant while in his eyes, they looked very disgusting.

“ Thank you all for coming to this party. It shows that you all are our loyalty friends that share the same goal as we do. Ever since Kenneth was a little boy, he had dreamed of helping our country. Helping to build it and work hard in contributing to it's prosperity. This is what he plans to do when he is elected as Mayor. I hope that all of you can join in helping him and making this country, great!” Jake heard Abraham say making him scoff.

After they had done a big cheer of celebration with the crowd, Jake watched Alexa excuse herself as she left to the bathroom. Being all alone with her sister, Jake knew he had to make a move now that he had the chance.

“ I don't think we have met before. I am Jake. Jake Moss." Jake said with a smile as he placed his card in front of her while he took his seat.

“ And I don't want to meet you. Whoever you are cannot be good. You're with Alexa.” Jake heard her say as she sneered before facing away.

“ Because we haven't met. What's your name?” Jake asked.

“That's Scarlett. She is the heiress to the Franco fortune.” Jake heard Alexa say in a rude tone as she returned to her seat.

“ Your new boyfriend is cheap. You shouldn't keep him." Jake heard Scarlett say.

" He's not my boyfriend.” Jake heard Alexa say in a cold tone making him feel awkward.

It was obvious they didn't get along with each other in private. Still, Samantha had helped him to get in. Reaching for the wine bottle in the middle of the table, Jake poured a little for Samantha before doing the same for himself. She was his ticket to getting what he wanted.

“ Cheers.” Jake said with a smile as he looked at Samantha.

The party ended and Jake decided to head back home. This time, he didn’t climb in through the window but decided to walk in through the front door.

(Punch!)

Falling to the ground, Jake's eyes widened as he saw his father-in-law and his wife standing in front of him.

“How?” Jake asked as he moved back using his hands to get as far as possible from them.

“How dare you embarrass me in front of everyone? How can you humiltae me like this?” Khloe asked as she walked towards Jake looking at him with murderous intent.

Slapping Jake hard across the face, Khloe watched as he fell to the ground. His face immediately became red as her handprint appeared on the side of the face.

“ Daddy!” Juliet's loud panicked voice echoed through the house making Jake's eyes widen as he realized that his daughter had come out.

Raising his head, Jake watched as she almost ran to meet him but was stopped by one of the guards.

“Leave her alone. Leave her alone!” Jake screamed on the top of his voice as he watched his daughter struggle.

“Let her go." Khloe said looking at the guard.

“Don’t let her go.” Abraham said immediately stopping the guard.

“He is harming her. She is still a child.” Khloe said angering Abraham. Reaching out to her, Abraham slapped her hard causing her to fall to the ground with Jake.

“ So what? Who are you to question my orders now? Lock her up immediately.” Abraham said as he signaled the guard.
