"Good Morning to you too, Mr. Steele," bypassing Ethan's question, Margaret says with a light smile as she shuts the door and makes her way into the room, taking a seat on the wooden chair beside him.

"Looking at your face, I assume you also didn't blink at all last night, right?" She asks.

"Right," Ethan doesn't deny it as he retorts. "I lost my only son, how could I possibly enjoy the leisure of sleep?"

"Hmm," Margaret hums. "Is that the only reason you didn't sleep at all last night?" She shoots him a scrupulous look.

Ethan arches a brow, asking solemnly, "What are you driving at?"

Margaret leans forward slightly, her expression serious as she replies, "Well, Mr. Steele, I didn't sleep because not only did I lose my husband, becoming a widow in my late thirties, but also because the murderer of my husband still lives. I'm trying to know if you also didn't think in that direction regarding your son throughout the night."
