Some minutes later, they arrived at the outskirts of Diamond Tower, but to Kendrick's surprise, the guards informed him that Sophia had not stopped by since they left.

In a calm and modest manner, the guard said, his eyes looking curious, "She didn't return to the inn, sir… Is everything alright?, I thought you left together?"

Kendrick quickly turned, his eyes inspecting the cars that lined up in the parking zone, and saw that there was truly no sign of the car they drove in.
