Evelyn smiled and moved to Kendrick who was talking to the Governor of California, Mr. Whales Ferdinand.

"I thank you so much for honouring my invitation and for gracing today's event" Kendrick said with a pleasant smile on his face.

"Mr. Kendrick your father has done so much to this state and the world at large that I should hesitate to stop by" Whales Ferdinand replied as he turned to greet the other executive that either shook hands or plants kisses on each other's cheeks.
