An hour later, a massive brown gate rolled open, revealing a wide compound, and the fleet of cars, led by the police van carrying Kendrick and that which carried his other men, sped into it.

The air thickened with urgency as officers jumped from the cars, their voices cutting through the air with loud commands.

“Move it boys!” barked officer Tony, his voice echoing across the compound as he gestured towards the exit. “Out of the goddamn car!” he snapped bitterly, pushing Brandon who only turned to him with a wide grin.
