Chapter sixty one

Mildred was shaking like a leaf in autumn, her hands placed on her chest. Jeremy almost felt pity for her but then he reminded himself that she was the one who got herself into the mess in the first place. She wished that she had never come in contact with that anonymous source or tried to manipulate Bob into getting that file for her.

"What did they say to you?" He asked.
