"Who are you?" *That's the first question that arose in my head. Is this what happens after you die? Or is this hell? Why is there an elf here?*

"You need not know, darling. Everything here is under control," he said as he pulls out a knife and throws it at her right leg. She already felt the pain of dying, but this, for her, it feels the same. Her scream from agony reached the other side of the world. She tried to hold it but her tears came out of suffering. It took too long for her to calm down out of pain.

"Oh, I think not. I doubled the pain limiter, but it's no big deal, right darling?"

*I'm dead, right? Why do I feel pain? And what's he saying? Under control? Everything? Wait... Darling? Is he...*

"Let me go, Satan!" Ruie mutters as she growls out her bound. She's being careful not to move the blade stuck in her leg.

"I'm dead, right!? Why don't you end my life now!?"

"The payment will be nulled then," he said.

"What?"

"Don't you know? I bought your life. Now, you're my slave."

"I am NOT YOUR SLAVE!"

"Sorry, I don't entertain questions and opinions from slaves. From now on, be the cure to my boredom," he said and psychotically laughs after. He opens his right palm beside his waist facing down the floor. He chanted,

"Foramen acus transire accersi." A glow of light gradually lit below it, which later became a box of needles. Ruie's eyes bulged after believing the reality of fantasy.

*Is that magic? How is that possible?* She thought.

"Because I'm kind, first," he said as he opens his right palm facing up like he was controlling the floating needles. All needles now face Ruie. In a split time before a second, a needle quickly jabs through her toe, passing the fingernail. From the doubled pain she felt, she grips her chair as she screams. She felt strange about why there's no coming out but just particles. He continues, "I'll explain the things you need to know."

"First..." Another needle stroke through her toe as he speaks. From his looks, he seems fully satisfied about hearing the screams of people. Still screaming, he continues. "You're in my world. You know what that means?"

"No response eh?" Being patient and ignored are the things he hates most. He sent another needle on her toe, which leaves her more unable to speak. More tears fell out of her eyes. He drags her hair up and spoke angrily.

"Are you listening?" Even if the simple drag, she already felt much pain of losing her hair. Frightened and shaking, she slowly and forcefully nods as she grins the pain to stop. With the suffering she had, she doesn't want more, but all she could do is to expect the worst. He releases it and explained freely as he roams around. The needles are currently in the air as it points to Ruie.

"Someone begged your life to me. Looks like she already sees you as her best friend. Looking at her eyes, she wanted you to be alive more than she has. She already knows I can give life to those near their deaths, but she didn't know it has a price."

*So this isn't hell? Looks like more of hell to me. I don't want to suffer this torture Aleiya brought me. Wait... So if Aleiya brought me here, then...*

"I know what you're thinking now. This is Crevole, the personal world where everything is possible! Magic is a thing. This is the world where people wanted to be free in which they can't do in reality. And you already know who I am. Yes, I am her father."

*I can't believe it. His face is too far from what I've seen on screens.*

"From here, everything is possible, even reading your mind. Do you want to know why?" He asks. She nods again with struggle.

"You're already dead. You already know that, but with my daughter's request, the only physical part of your body intact is your brain. Everyone already knows you're dead, but they didn't know you're here, except for Aleiya especially she's the one who requested it. But the price you'll pay is just this," he said. He flicks his hand and sends another needle to her toe.

"ARGGHHH!! I—I don't—want—to live. P—Please k—kill me!"

"I'm sorry darling, but the only spare equipment that's intended to be for me is used to you, a normal girl with a boring life. I'm not asking for your decisions. You're just my slave."

*I never wanted to be a slave!*

"Too bad, darling, you're already one. Even if you badly wanted to escape, there's no one can from a god," he said.

*I need to find a chance to es...*

"ARGHHH!!" Another needle stroke through her. There are already four holes in her right foot, and she can't stand another needle. She starts shaking her body abnormally, wanting to be free, but the more the man sees her, the more he felt satisfied.

"More, more, MORE!!!" He maniacally grins as he starts flicking his hand after another. Continuous needles follow one another as it strikes through her virtual body. The more she screams, the more wonderful his sight is. He laughs maniacally while she cries out of agony.

Her vision starts blurring, but lightheadedness doesn't visit her brain. Her muscles tighten while squeezing the minimal amount of pain she receives, but dizziness already wraps around her head. Her squeals won't help but just tire her more. The only thing she wants now is for this pain to end. She tries convincing herself that this pain is just temporary, but her body is cramped after having each toe and fingernails with two needles. For a minute, after the continuous shuddering breaths and a voiceless scream, she passed out.

"Eh? You're done? I thought you'll break the record. You can't escape there anyways. I'm going to get my job finished," he said as he leaves the cabin. The remaining floating needles fell down the ground. Reading her mind won't have any effect on rest.

*It's Miranda's fault for leaving it like that. I should have fixed that bug since then. But since she's already asleep, let's see if she's worth living. I'll give her a Conway's.*

Within the swirl of his fingers, he untangled the knot behind Ruie. Instead, he placed her hands in front of her and magically tied a rope in a special manner which is nearly unsolvable. It contains 11 tangled dimensions with her two hands fitted in it. For him, he's sure that only magic can solve it since it's impossible to cut the rope. He leaves the room like a pop of a bubble.

In Ruie's ten hours of dreaming, she's in front of burial in an open cemetery. All that surrounds is dear to him, except for her mother. Aleiya was there together with his brother. Her dad was also there, which brought the realistic nightmare she just had. The whole class is there with their teacher who scolds her about sleeping. And there she is, like a ghost, with no one noticing her. In the coffin was her face.

"I'm sorry, Drake. I'm deeply indebted to you. If I could've just didn't do that, this won't happen," Aleiya said while hugging Ruie's brother.  Of all the people, they're the ones who sobs the most. Her crying teacher goes near him and spoke.

"She's a prodigy. She knows how to handle time. She even learned that school is just a hindrance to her dream. But I keep scolding her for that. I don't have any more to teach her, because she learned it all. I'm just the one forcing her to do so. Wasting her life is... it's just sad."

"Ma'am..." Aleiya said as she looks at her.

"I'm sorry about your friend, Aleiya. She taught a harsh lesson to me."

Of all the things she heard, there's nothing for Ruie to do than to burst all her emotions. From all the lies she had in mind, the people spoke of her as one of the greatest, but there's no way she can appreciate it back. Her tears fell as she watches her body buried slowly underground. The whole area is surrounded by sobbing. Ruie kneels and cried.

"I'm sorry, everyone. Without your permission, I left you all early."

Her heart beats faster than normal, not until it reached its peak. Her emotions overloaded, waking her up in her dream. She realized that tears fell out of her face even when resting, then she woke up again in the deadly cabin of suffering. But this time, her hands are tied in front of her.

She sees something familiar about the knot of the rope. From her memory, she already solved it in a week, but it's a long time ago. She recalls the puzzle that stuck her life in ages, but now, her hands and feet are tied in it. It's impossible for her to untangle it, but with her analytical skills and the time she had, she's completely free to do what she wanted.

*No way! This is Conway.*

In just an hour, both her hands and feet are untied. The thing that finished it is the drop of the untied rope to her chair. But for Ruie, there are still things that are needed to be observed.
