EIGHT

From afar, a car occupant watched as a body was carelessly laid down on the floor, only few feet aware from the busy road with surprised expression on the car occupant's face.

Since it was at the accurate speed, it was easier for the car to slow down as the occupant's attention was caught by the body laying helplessly few feet away from the road side.

There body was having several red marks and few bruises all over it, any one could tell how much physical abuse the person must have gone through.

The car's occupant has no problem with the bruises and mark —but the fact that it was dumped carelessly angered her more than any thing.

She had wanted to continue with her driving but could not, not knowing why the almost lifeless body caught her attention so much.

Reluctantly, she parked her car by the road just few feet away from the body, hopping down from her car. As she near the body, her eyes sparkled in recognition.

"No way..." She muttered, staring at the direction where the two guy, who had dumped the body took.

Her sight was left with no traces of them and they seems to have suddenly disappeared from the earth surface.

‘That was so fast...!’ She thought to herself, waving them off her mind and focused her attention on the person on the ground instead.

She studied the person's body and realized how much hard they had hit him, thankfully, his face was spared with only few but barely noticeable bruise on it —the bruises on his face would disappear in no time soon, compared to the ones on his body.

The lady was in a haste but there's no way she would leave the body there, not when she recognized the person laying helplessly on the ground.

She sighed in defeated as she tried lifting the body inside her car.

"You aren't supposed to be heavy weighted at this moment, you should have been considerate, at least..." She muttered under her breathe in complain, gently dragging the body towards her car.

She had wanted to call out for help because there is no way she could do it alone in a hurry but the few passerby all seems to be minding their business, no one of them sparing her at least a glance.

She felt it was better that way, she need no attention whatsoever, if not, she won't be out alone with none of her guards with her. She love being simple, wading off public attention away from herself.

After what seems like forever, she was able to help herself in lifting the body into her car and with out wasting any more second, she rushed into her car, roaring the car's engine to life with the thought of driving in to the nearest hospital.

 ******

Isaac was finding it hard to believe his thought of his ex boss being aware of his predicament. There is no way she could have know, right?

"I know what you are thinking and I suppose your thinking is right, Zik." He heard her say, surprising him even more.

‘How much more did she know about me...?’ Isaac asked himself in marvel.

"What am I thinking?" Isaac hissed out, he need her not to know how much surprised he is. "What do you even know about me?"

"Every thing, Isaac." She replied, stressing her words. "Every thing you thought no one else know about."

‘Every thing...?’ He stuttered under his breathe, getting more confused and surprised.

"I supposed you have been stalking me then?" He blurted her, sounding more like he's fuming. "You've got nothing important to do rather than stalking your ex employees?"

"If I had decided to focus on the important things I have on my table, how do you suppose you will get to the hospital?" She threw at him, taking him completely aback.

‘Okay, what did I just hear?’ He find himself chuckling even when he felt her reply was absurd, maybe that was why he was letting out his soft laughter.

"Did you think you get to the hospital by some magic or sort? Oh, come on, Zik." She said with a short snicker.  "I drove you to the hospital myself, dear ex employee."

Isaac frowned his face, obfuscated, deep lines settling on his forehead. How was he supposed to react to such news? It's really embarrassing for him to know his ex boss met him in his most pitiable state.

"Fine, you won." Isaac muttered, admitting to the fact that she could be the one who had helped him. Well, there was no one who could have and that gave answer to his thought. "What else do you know?"

"I told you earlier, Zik, I know a lot about you. Every thing you could ever think of." She told him in reply, her voice as still as water but at the same time, it was holding no emotion as it sounded outrageously plain.

Isaac felt angry, hearing the mention of ‘every thing’ from her, angered him a lot. Why would it be her of all people? To think she know every thing about him, even his most embarrassing moment at the Amy's home?

Isaac face palmed himself, letting out a small throaty grunt. This doesn't sound too good to Isaac, he wished he could just disappeared from the earth surface.

Then he realized she could only have helped him for one reason, she needed some thing in return from him. No rich person would helped with out any having nothing in return.

"What do you want from me?" He requested in a blunt yet sharp tone, his voice far from friendly. "You want some thing, don't you? Tell me, what is it?"

"Relax, Zik..." She uttered with an air of authority in it.  "Stop rushing things okay?"

"I told you earlier; I have no such time to joke around, just be straight forward or I hang up on you." He told her like he was laying a threat to her.

Evelyn Anderson laughed, it wasn't her usual chuckle or amused laughter. There was some thing inside her laughter that Isaac fail to pin point since he felt there was more to it.

"I have an offer for you, Isaac." She uttered airily, suddenly stopping her laughter. "A mouth watering offer you won't dare reject from me..."
