Chapter 41

Leon returned back to the store afterwards. The thugs he had beaten earlier were nowhere to be found again.

So he stood in the middle of the store and called out to the store owner, “Miss, It’s me. The one who was sent by Emma Mitchell to get what she bought from you.”

There was silence for a second before he heard a creaking sound behind him and turned to its direction to see the store owner emerging from the back of the store, her eyes pinned on him in disbelief.

She stopped in front of him and voiced out her anazement, “Y-you’re really back? But how…how are you back in one piece?”

Leon walked to the boxes on the floor and pointed at one of them with a blank look on his face, “I’m running late with them already. Can you check and replace the missing item?”

“S-sure.” The woman nodded immediately and got to work.
