The silence lingered for some moments before Allen spoke, "You live an isolated life, Mary Jane. I never expected someone like this to exist."

"It's normal," Mary Jane replied casually. "When you have dangerous people on your neck, you'll learn to live an isolated life. From now on you'll live such a life."

"Why does this feel like a curse?"Allen couldn't help but narrow his eyes.
