The man with the safe clutched tightly to his chest ran through the shadows, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he fled from the scene of his crime. His heart pounded in his chest, a mix of adrenaline and fear coursing through his veins.He could hear the sounds of sirens in the distance, and the wailing of police cars as they raced towards the scene.
