Allen stared at Stephanie for what seemed like an eternity. "You can't help with anything Stephanie, you don't understand the magnitude of the situation."

"I... I can help. I can help you find him and bring the safe back. I didn't know you kept something that important in here, else I would have led him away." Stephanie said.

"It's not your fault that bloody thief broke in here. You're not to blame for what is happening to me right now." Allen said in frustration as he walked back to the bed calmly and sat on it.

As he sat, he tugged at his hair and wondered how he had gotten to this point. If he didn't find that safe, he was done for and not only will David come after him, but he will make sure that Allen feels the magnitude of what he has just lost.
