Chapter One
*Welcome to NexReality.*The familiar robotic female voice rang in his ear as the darkness cleared."I can't believe I'm back here." It all felt like a fresh start, yet everything was familiar. From the voice of the beginners in-game tutorial guide, to the large blank white screen in front of him."This is indeed a new beginning." Lionel Phillips muttered to himself. At this moment he was but a white blob that looked like a floating cloud amidst a plain white world of nothingness. The screen in front of him changed, showing a range of different avatars to choose from."Let's start by choosing your in game avatar player." The in-game tutorial guide voiced again as the screen displayed several options."This isn't just my second time in the game, but my second life as well. I won't make the same mistakes I made in my past life." Lionel recalled the moment of his death, killed brutally at the hands of assassins sent by his own step brother, he would never forget the look in Kaleb's ey

Chapter Two
After a few seconds of being transported, Lionel opened his eyes to find himself in what looked like an ancient village where farmers and hunters resided. Looking around he could spot many players who just like him had just started the game. Players could be recognized by their special appearances, while NPCs were the regular folks in the town. Lionel noticed how a lot of players were eagerly rushing to the NPCs in search of quests to complete so they could be transported out of the beginner town and officially start the main game. However, there was a little secret about the beginner town that no one else in the game knew about yet. The beginner town was a box full of treasures disguised as a hindrance to the players. Most quests in the beginner town gave very little XP that hindered players from levelling up faster compared to what they would get in the main game world, however a little here and there were special gems they could find that most players never even made the effort

Chapter Three
The library old man's quest was only little among all the interesting quests that laid in the beginner town, Lionel didn't hesitate to head out of the city heading for the outer parts. "I better stock up with some basic weapons before I get torn to shreds by low level animals."Lionel flicked his game wrist band and the screen appeared in the air, tapping the weapons section, a long display of cool looking weapons was displayed on the screen each with an amount of coins used to purchase them. Swiping the screen there was a set of swords, due to his chosen avatar race, the weapons he could view were those that could be used by a human. He swiped the screen several times before a pair of shiny black twin swords caught his eye. In his past life he'd been a cyborg, so the only weapons he could use were the built in rifles that came with the cyborg avatar. However, he'd always admired sword fighters, so this time, he was giving himself the chance to do that.Clicking on the twin swords i

Chapter Four
With a quick timely leap, Lionel avoided the Queen bee's stinger rolling away from the spot he steadied himself a distance away from the queen bee.She was much larger than Lionel expected. In his past life, just like the others, Lionel had completed a single quest and accepted to be transported out of the beginner town, hence such low level creatures like the valerian bees weren't something he'd combated with. "Brave warrior, we can escape through the opening behind those shrubs, you don't have to battle with the queen valerian bee, it may harm you." However Lionel's eyes shone as he watched the creature prepare it's attack, valerian bees could only cause damage with a close range attack which was using their stinger, however from what Lionel had heard about the queen valerian bee, it had multiple modes of attack other than it's stinger. In order to get strong enough to reach the hundredth level of the game where the (Golden Orb) laid, Lionel knew he had to amass enough power and

Chapter Five
*Player can now choose to leave the beginner town.**Accept or reject?*Lionel didn't hesitate in choosing the latter."Reject."*Player can now remain in the beginner town until another quest is completed.*The farm girl who'd been hiding watching the combat between Lionel and the Voltsting bee emerged from her hiding place. She stared at the creature still hovering in the air warily."Why didn't you leave?" Lionel was surprised to still see her there, he'd assumed she already escaped."You saved my life, so I must repay you. I promised to give you everything I possess," She quickly handed him her farm basket, "This is everything I own, I live in the small hut at the other side of town, the village folks don't like me, so I live in seclusion. Though I don't own much, that basket contains everything I have in this world, I'm sure you'll find somethings useful."Lionel looked down into the farm basket, there were a few ordinary looking farm tools, and a lot of small sized bottles that

Chapter Six
"Why have you been following me?" The guy looked at Lionel with determination in his eyes as he declared, "I want to form a team with you." Silence hung in the air, the orc guy waiting hopefully, seeing that Lionel remained quiet he added, "I've been watching you, first you immediately went to take up that library quest that no one else wants to take, you chose to play with a human race when everyone else was choosing many other powerful races, I thought you were either stupid or knew exactly what you were doing. You fought so many valerian bees including that strange one that shoots lightening all on your own, yet when you had the chance to level up and leave you didn't. You weren't stupid, you just had a strategy. I came into this game planning to go solo, but watching you I've realized that it would be better to have someone smart like you as a team member. So I want to form a team with you."Lionel turned to leave, "I don't need a team." In his past life he'd had a team who w

Chapter Seven
"Who is this player Blacklion001? He must be a master gamer hired by a big company right?""Does anyone know who he is? I'd like to join his team.""If he was in a team, the notification would have mentioned the name of the team and not just the name of the player, I think he is a solo gamer.""Gasp, a solo player and he already acquired such a rare and valuable item? Even the veteran gamers who are currently making a wave in NexReality have not been able to attain such a treasure.""I think I know who this player BlackLion001 is. The first time I entered the game there was a human player who was entering the forbidden library at the end of the beginner town, though I didn't really see his face much, I think it's him.""What do you mean a human player? It's impossible a player would want to choose a human race, and even if they did, what can a human do against the beast rumored to be within the tunnel of despair. Haven't you heard how many players died stupidly risking their lives for
