As Glenda sat in the dark passageway, she couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity.

She heard the man who had lost the position of Lordship over Wiccan Empire storm out of the event hall.

She positioned herself so she could see better into the room because the place was dimly lit, and the air was musty and stale.

The man who’s name was Joel began pacing back and forth, his eyes burning with anger and frustration.

"I can't believe I lost to that old fool," Joel grumbled, his voice low and menacing. "He has no idea how to run the Empire, and I would have been so much better at it. But no, they chose him instead."

The servant stood by, his face pale and worried. He was clearly afraid of Joel, and he didn't want to anger him further.

"I was shocked me myself My lord, there must be something you can do," the servant said, trying to sound calm and reasonable. "Perhaps you could challenge him for the position again at a later date."
