Dangerous beasts!

Frank spun his wand and cast the spell to fend off the beast, and it crumbled to the floor with a ground impacting thud

"What the" He stood motionless, then turned to the rest of the group and spread his arms apart. "Whatever happened that Lance couldn't do it?"

Mara and Liam didn't know what to say.

"Your guess is as good as ours" Liam said, stepping into the area, along with Mara.

"Let's just retrieve the Globe.." Mara said. "We need to hurry up and see how he is doing."

They rushed over to where the stake was and pulled it out as the tree branches and leaves whistled in the wind.

But it wasn't a globe that was there. It was a blue wand, that shimmered as well in the sunlight.

"Wow.. it's beautiful.. have you ever seen anything like it?" Mara said as Frank took it out and caressed it.
