Lance couldn't believe what he was hearing. Prof. Blackwood, who had been his accuser, was now trying to free him from the dungeon? Lance blinked in disbelief, trying to process the conflicting emotions he was feeling.

After a few moments, Lance stood up and looked at Prof. Blackwood with a mix of disbelief and anger. "I don't understand. You were the one trying to convict me, and now you're trying to free me?" he asked, his voice tinged with skepticism.

Prof. Blackwood's smile quickly vanished, replaced with an annoyed expression. "I'm giving you a last chance to think carefully, Lance. Don't make a decision based on emotions. Take your time and give me an answer when you're ready," he said.

Lance knew what his answer would be. "I don't need your help. Prof. Trevor will prove my innocence," he replied firmly.

Prof. Blackwood's eyes narrowed in anger, but he quickly composed himself and gave Lance a tight smile. "Very well. Stay strong and be patient while you're being proven innocent
