14. Erik's case
Erik's POV

Erik checked the time that evening and sighed, he was working late again and had forgotten the time. Working this late meant that he would be staying over at the office rather than go back home because he hated driving late at night.

Someone knocked on his door. so he wasn’t the only person staying over at the office, he thought.

“ Come in…”, he answered.

Brandon poked his head into his office, “ I saw your lights on, working late again?”, He asked.

Erik sighed, relaxing on his seat, “ Yeah... You?”, He asked.

Brandon opened the door to allow him enter the office, “ I called my driver, he should be on his way.”, he replied.

Erik nodded, he thought as much. To drive at night by this time would need someone who is focused and not someone who could fall asleep on the steering wheel after working for long hours.
