There exists a long list of pointless things done by people and punching a rock has to be one of them. Everyone participating in the test knew this but the rocks weren't giving them much choice. The two statues may have lacked speed but the walls covered for this flaw. The few vampires brave enough to try and fight were soon on the ground and clinging on to their consciousness.Some of these brave fools had the skills to go toe to toe with the statues but Milas knew how useless their attempts were. He had noticed that the statues would heal whenever they got chipped or cracked. The worst thing was that two of the three vampires on the ground had been pulled underground. Milas was not expecting to meet this person here of all places. He hoped that the person had forgotten him but a punch that broke his nose dashed those hopes. Milas covered his nose to reduce the bleeding but more gushed from his mouth when he was kicked in the chest. Milas was on his knees when another kick threw him back through the double doors behind him. He skidded on the smooth floor before coming to a stop. Milas was in shock of the results of the punishment. He was used to the concept of having his ass handed to him but the fact that the beating wouldn't stop till both of them gave up really pissed him off. The crescent moon hung in the sky with a legion of stars around it. The magnificence and splendor of such a sight was ruined by the darkness enveloping the land. This was one of the few nights in the Darklands when the sky was cloudless.
