Ambition

I was alone with one of the Marines and since there was nothing to do, I stayed there playing dice with them.

They had a kind of game where they bet, the first one to roll seven got all the money. I decided to participate, since I had nothing else to do.

There were about eight of us, but I was doing badly, so I played for one last time. One of the Marines seemed to be very lucky, he won all the games and left the others with money.

It was the last game we would play, I rolled the dice first. I was just waiting for a seven to come out so I could win this game.

I clenched my fists and shook them a little, threw them and got a surprise.

I rolled a seven, the Marine saw how I won the game and he got annoyed.
