Say what! Kubus the notorious one. A well-known gangster in Gatto republic. No one comes out alive after daring him. Lord Walter’s request was obviously to put Khloe in a difficult situation.

Kim kicked against her daughter meeting Kubus let alone ask for an old land. ‘’No father, it’s risky! Something terrible might happen to Khloe?’’

Deborah feigned a difficult look and said, ‘’Aunt Kim, its okay if she doesn’t want to go, but you and your family won’t be able to make a comeback for the rest of your lives.’’

At the mention of that, Khloe and her parents turned deathly pale. Khloe was I dilemma. Her father Hector let the tears flow from his eyes.

Then Quincy held her hand and whispered, ‘’Khloe take the offer.’’ She acted like she didn’t hear him, she picked Ashley who was fast as sleep and almost falling from the chair she was sitting. She gently placed her on her laps.

Quincy tapped her again and said, ‘’Khloe trust me, take the offer and I will help you recover the debt.’’

Looking at Quincy’s confident face, Khloe hesitated. She thought of her family’s current situation and it gave her no choice. She bit the bullet, got up and said, ‘’Grandfather, I will go and recover the land.’’

‘’You silly girl! Are you crazy? What if the gangster ripped your whole body apart? Kimberly Walter panicked.

Everyone present was shocked even Lord Walter. No one expected Khloe to take up the task. Charles, went to Quincy, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt screaming in anger, ‘’how could you? How could you send her? I overheard you whispering to her to go and collect the land from Kubus, isn’t that silly of you?’’ He turned to Lord Walter saying, ‘’Grandfather, shouldn’t the divorce happen today? So he won’t feel like he has right over Khloe?’’

Quincy pushed Charles, he pushed him so hard that he nearly hit his head on the decorated pillar, if not for Vincent who saved him. Quincy then glared at the few of them coldly, he didn’t want to argue with them because they were simply clowns. He held Khloe’s hand and they left the mansion.

Meanwhile, inside town, Khloe held two bags of fruit in her hands as she reminded Quincy, ‘’Remember, mind your words, control your anger, don’t speak until you are asked to.’’

Quincy nodded, Khloe was relieved slightly.

Just when they wanted to knock on Kubus’s mighty gate, a series of loud disturbing honks sounded behind them.

A pink Porsche stopped beside the two of them. The window wound down to reveal Deborah’s mean face. ‘’Geez, so you two are really here to recover the land? I thought you were blushing.’’

‘’Deborah, what are you doing here? Khloe frowned and questioned her impatiently.

‘’I came here to buy a house. Unlike you two who are stupid enough to come here knowing that the guy will beat you up.’’ Deborah had a pair of glasses on and it amplified her arrogance.

‘’After you two left, Grandfather distributed the bonus to all of us. We got an extra two million this year, and I’m buying a penthouse as a birthday present. Unlike you and you godforsaken husband who can’t afford to take you to buy you roses at least, on your birthday.’’

Khloe’s fists clenched upon hearing Deborah. She was slightly shaking. Quincy grinned and scoffed, ‘’Deborah, it’s just two million, what’s there to show off? Galumation Investment Company hates people who like to show off the little money they have, like you. Don’t even think of getting the investment.’’

Deborah was furious. She scoffed and said, ‘’you retard, can you really speak now. Save the advice when you get in and meet Kubus.’’ She got out of the car and strutted into Kubus’s office. Quincy and Khloe followed her inside.

They entered a spacious office with a man wearing a flamboyant golden necklace. He had a receptionist sitting on her desk. Then inside his office is a young girl of about eighteen years, sitting on his laps and his hands are all over her sexy body.

The terrible scar on his face could easily scare people off. The uninvited guests made Kubus angry. He shouted, ‘’who the fuck are you? Get the hell out of my site! Can’t you see I’m in the middle of something?’’ The man was a fierce as rumored.

Kubus’s shout made Deborah sweat nervously. She stammered, ‘’k…Kubus, I’m Deborah, Vincent my husband recommended that I buy a buy from your estate.’’

Upon hearing Deborah, Kubus raised his brows and switched his annoyance for a wide smile. ‘’Deborah Walter? I see. Welcome, please do have a seat.’’

He actually got a call from Vincent I informing him of Deborah’s coming. Since it was a request from a first tier family he has to oblige.

He loves attending to customers with a strong background and reputation, he believes its one of the tactics of associating with the biilionaires.

‘’And these two are?........’’ Kubus asked when he saw two more people at the door.

Seeing Kubus’s drastic change of attitude, Deborah felt relaxed. She then start running her mouth seeking for attention. ‘’Kubus, remember the Walter’s landed property? These two are here to recover it. But don’t worry, I have nothing to do with it. I’m here to buy my own penthouse, no time for drama.’’

‘’I see.’’ Kubus nodded upon hearing this. He leaned back in his seat and stared at Khloe and Quincy with hiss sharp eyes bulging out.

‘’I did not expect such audacity from the two of you, to have the effrontery to come here to recover a land, you have guts. A whole lots of it.’’

Khloe shivered when she saw Kubus’s frosty glare. She slowly took a step back and said, ‘’Kubus, we really need the land, it will resolve a lot of issues in my family.’’

‘’What does your family situation got to do with me?’’ Kubus said and scoffed. He continued scornfully. ‘’the land is mine, on my honor, if I say I am not giving it out then that’s final. You will do absolutely nothing about it.’’

Khloe bitterly curled her lips, her eyes were overflowing with despair. Then Quincy spoke, ‘’since when do you have control over the lands in Gato Republic Kubus Chim?’’

Kubus was shocked when Quincy called his full name, he grinned coldly and said impatiently, ‘’Nigga, do you have any idea what you are saying?

Some documents were brought for Deborah to make some signing. And an apple laptop was given to her to make a selection of the house of her choice.

Khloe turned pale. She tugged Quincy’s sleeve anxiously, signaling him to stop talking.

Quincy was not moved one bit. He continued, ‘’Am I wrong? The land actually belongs to Lord Walter, but Innocent Chim intimidated him and took it.’’

Kubus works for Innocent, and Innocent once served under Scot. Kubus was infuriated by the disrespect, he held back his anger. His brows furrowed as he asked, ‘’you know my boss?’’

‘’I don’t,’’ Quincy answered. He doesn’t need to know someone who served under his men.

‘’NO? Are you fucking with me? Kubus bellowed as his expression turned vicious.

Deborah, then fanned the flames from the side, after she finished selecting her choice house and made the transfer payment of One Million dollars. ‘’Kubus, how could he even know Innocent? He is Quincy Stone, a retard who married into our family.’’

‘’A guy who married into the Walter family!’’ Kubus widened his eyes in astonishment. At this moment, his anger erupted as if he was insulted. He cracked his fists as he glanced at Quincy viciously.

‘’Very well,’’ Kubus clenched his teeth, it has been years since someone tries to mess with me!’’

Deborah was very excited when Kubus got so angry. She thought this would be the end of the man he calls retard.

Khloe was at a loss for action. She tried her best to talk some sense some sense into Kubus, ‘’please sir, Quincy didn’t mean to hurt you, please forgive him.’’

Kubus practically ignored her. He raised his hand and more than a dozen men rushed into the office. Each one of them looking scary and deadly. Khloe could barely stand still when the men rushed in. fortunately Quincy held her up.

‘’Kubus, you scared my wife,’’ a killer aura appeared when Quincy furrowed his brows. Kubus did not notice Quincy’s anger. He shouted, ‘’so what, if I did?’’ you fuck with me, so don’t think about getting out here in one piece!’’ meanwhile his men were waiting for his order to bounce on Quincy.

Just immediately, Kubus’s phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and was shocked. He ran to an inner office and answered the call. His mood change instantly.

‘’Boss? What is the issue on ground? A man and a woman are currently at my office, the man has a family name Stone.’’
