Wedding preparations

After having dinner, grandfather Kian went ahead to discuss plans for their engagement ceremony.

They selected a location and a date and they all agreed with it.

Thora's initial panic began to fade as she thought about the potential upside of a marriage with Ansel. ‘Well, if he doesn't want anything from me, then it'll be more like a business deal, right? No biggie,’ she mused to herself.

It was just a marriage on paper and she would never fall for a man like Ansel.

They soon talked about the engagement preparations and how to go about it.

When the conversation was over, Ansel, grandfather Kian and Thora walked out of the restaurant.

"Can I drive you home?" Ansel asked in a raspy voice, the type of voice that would make any woman turn their heads to look at him a second time but Thora wasn't moved.
