Adonis was bewildered, he moved a little bit closer to Gina. “What do you mean?” He asked. His expression showed how concerned he was.

“Tony’s phone is tapped, I knew about the search before it began; and I moved her to another state not very far from here. She’s safe and well, and would receive everything she was supposed to receive at the beach house.” Gina stared at her lips in the mirror and matched the upper part and the lower part together to get the colour all over her lips.

Adonis paced the room brushing his hair with his hand, he was actually tired of this, even though it was the perfect plan, it was affecting him greatly. The actual cause of Adonis' fear was not because he genuinely liked Laurel or anything of that sort. It was because Laurel was Tony’s fiancée, and judging by what he had seen, Winconstin seemed to be fond of her.
