“What stepbrother?” Adonis' face reverted into a serious expression. He wouldn’t even call the man that his father was talking about, his stepbrother. Adonis had developed hatred for him even before meeting him.

“Didn’t Dad tell you?” Riley gave a curious look, she knew that wasn’t possible, he’d be the first person Winconstin would tell, or maybe her mother though.

“He did, was the motherfucker here?” Adonis was now curious, he didn’t remember seeing any man when he walked in, well he wasn’t really paying attention to his environment because of Laurel's presence.

“There was no way you wouldn’t have bumped into him, he just left,” Riley was still surprised that they didn’t bump into each other, but that wasn’t really a problem, they would eventually meet one day.

From the look of things, it seems Adonis already hated the new addition in the family, and she wanted to know why. But first, she had to tell him why she called him here, before he became less friendly.
