The Art of Coincidence

Tony couldn’t hide his shock because it came naturally and Riley’s eyes were fixated on him. He had been found out! That’s the only answer to what was happening now, Riley wouldn’t be asking for his full name if she hadn’t heard or seen something.

“Since you were employed, I didn’t ask for your name or check your background, because Laurel was the one who brought you in, but I need to know now, tell me your full name, Tony,” Riley added, waiting for an answer.

This was to confirm if this was the Tony her father spoke about, but if it was the same Tony, why the hell is he doing a driver’s job?.

Tony was thinking very fast, should he tell a lie? Or just tell the truth? If he told Riley the truth, she’d just most likely take the job from him, but he could also tell her the reason he was doing it and she would keep him knowing who he really was.

But if he told her a lie and she knew he was lying, she might not give him a chance even if she knew who he was, this was her company either
