Tony felt relieved hearing his father’s voice, although what he was about to say was better said physically, but in situations like this, things just had to be done.

“Laurel’s missing,” Tony sighed, he was tired of explaining how she got missing over and over again. However, he would have to do it again.

“What!” Winconstin exclaimed from the other end.

“Laurel is missing, father. We were supposed to be visiting her parent today, but the unexpected happened when I got to where she was; I couldn’t find her, not at her house, not at her friend’s, not anywhere and her phone is dead.” Tony placed his forehead on the steering wheel as he spoke.

“She’s been missing for up to twelve hours now, I had to get the address to her parents from Riley, I’d put a family in tears after revealing to them that thier daughter might have been abducted. I don’t know what else to do, father.” Tony felt like crying but that wouldn’t solve anything and would make him look less of a man.
