Lilian quickly closed the door, taking a few steps backwards. She was too frightened, that was the most frightening moment she ever experienced for a long time. “Hello, Tony, it’s me, Laurel.” Laurel spoke from the other end of the phone, her voice sounded like she was scared. The liquor bottle fell off Tony’s hands, he couldn’t believe it, he never expected it. Normally, if an abduction happens and the abductors want a ransom, they’d have called him hours after abducting Laurel. Since it had been almost three days now, Tony had concluded that these abductors didn’t want his money. And that’s the reason why it was easier to suspect Lilian. “That’s it, your idea has been carried out. Let’s see if they’d risk Laurel’s life.” Gina said, sitting at dinner with Adonis. It was his plan all along. He wanted the police to think the abductors were still within the city, that way they wouldn’t be thinking if they had escaped even before the search began. But that wasn’t the only reason he did it. He did it to also give Tony peace of mind that Laurel wasn’t dead and that she was safe, but still he had put him in a pinch. All he wanted was to become the heir, he didn’t wish to harm anybody or allow anyone suffer. If he becomes the heir, he wouldn't have any problem with Tony but if he doesn’t, there’d be a whole lot of issues; maybe it was then he’d awaken his real self. “Don’t talk as if you’re enjoying this, it’s not a game. Katerina was sitting at the dining table knitting baby clothes when she heard Lilian loud screams, it frightened the hell out of her, immediately making her heart start beating faster than usual.
