Pain and Pandemonium

The whole room went silent like a graveyard as soon as Tony finished talking, he could see the shock and despair in their faces. He really did make the wrong decision telling them this news, however; it was better now than if they found out later.

Lucy was the only one who understood completely what was going on, her heartbeat had already skyrocketed and her expression looked as if she’d collapse. Her sister had been abducted, she knew Tony wasn’t lying because she had tried to call Laurel some few hours ago and truly her phone was dead.

“I can’t seem to wrap my head around what you’re trying to say here. Firstly, who are you to Laurel?” Laurel’s father asked, trying to understand what really was going on. The man was old, and had grey hair covering his head.

Laurel’s mother just remained mute, she was utterly devastated but didn’t want to believe what she just heard.
