Camael felt a bit of surprise, but wasn’t caught off guard at all.
On the contrary, he let the spear pierce through his chest, because somehow, he not only didn’t feel any wickedness coming from Odin’s movement. He also felt that it was true to its purpose, and that was why he just let the attack hit him.
However, when the weapon pierced him, what greeted the archangel wasn’t pain, but something like a trance, that made Camael go back in time, until the day he fought in the Ether Wars.
In spite of that, the place where he woke up to wasn’t the in-between of worlds, where the war took place.
He woke up at one of Metatron’s laboratories in Eden, tied up to an iron table, his arms and legs completely restrained by metal shackles and chains.
