Chapter Thirty-seven

"I'll put that phone down if I were you." Armand said to Jack.

"Why? Are you scared?" Jack asked tauntingly.

"Scared of what exactly?" Armand asked.

"I don't know. Maybe you're scared of Mr Morris finding out your identity. I wonder why that is." Jack replied.

"Sorry sir, but can you please tell me what's going on here? I'm a little lost, " the security said.

Armand proceeded to tell him how he had caught Jack sneaking out of the finance department.

"Are you mad? You were the one caught sneaking out of a place you weren't supposed to be, and you're expecting Mr Armstrong to be the one who's scared." the guard shouted at Jack.

"I know that was a rhetorical question, but no, I am not mad. But what do you think? A wealthy man is afraid of his identity being made public, is it because he has certain agencies after him or could it be he has wronged some very influential people and now, he's hiding because he doesn't want to face the consequences of whatever he has done?" Jack asked
