Chapter Twenty-eight

Armand asked, "The meaning of what?" As he turned around to calmly face Mr. Peters. He stood tall, his eyes locked onto Mr. Peters, his expression serene.

Mr. Peters' face was red with rage, his eyes bulging, and his veins visible beneath his skin. His body was tense, his fists clenched, and his jaw clenched. He looked like he was about to explode.

Just then, Daniel hurried into the office and greeted Armand, "Good morning, Sir!"

Mr. Peter repeated his question, his voice rising in anger, "What is the meaning of this?!"

Armand feigned confusion, "What are you talking about, Mr. Peter?"

Mr. Peters condescendingly pointed at Daniel, "Him! You've appointed him as my assistant?!"

A fake look of realization dawned on Armand's face, "Oh. Well, I have appointed Daniel to serve as your assistant, the same way you were assistant general manager to Aaron."

Armand's tone was calm and matter-of-fact, but his eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief, as if he knew he was stirring up a hornet's nest.
