CHAPTER 28

Writer's POV

The image of the boy Micah had seen, stuck to her head.

Even as she walked out of the room, she couldn't stop thinking about him.

Every image of him had been taken out of the academy.

If she hadn't looked closely, she would have never seen his face in that picture.

The Principal definitely forgot to take that one out.

He couldn't risk anyone finding out about Zenin, especially the ones whose memory of the boy, he had wiped out.

Micah knew she couldn't confront the Principal on who the boy was.

If he had decided to hide the identity of the boy then he wouldn't want anyone finding out what he had hidden.

So, going to him was not a good idea.

Micah eventually decided to go to Magda.

She didn't trust Langrid as much as she didn't trust the Principal and Janel would never agree to do anything the Principal wasn't pleased with.

With the picture she had seen, Micah began to reconsider the true true purpose of the academy.
