A friend

"Come on, Stas let's go to my house." Stas thought for a minute whilst walking, "I have to ask my mum first." Stas then pulled out his phone and the screen lit up to show a red wallpaper with blue stripes. He unlocked his phone and started to dial some numbers. "Hello, mother." A woman from the other side responded.

"Hello, son. I was just about to call your phone. No one is at home yet so go to the park or do something for a couple of hours until your sister gets home." Stas would think about how he was he was going to phrase his question.

He took a deep breath and asked, "Can I go to a friend's house for a few hours?" Stas's mum when silent before asking, "Boy or Girl?" Stas was shocked at this question and he regained composer, "Girl" His mum sighed.

"If it is ok with her then I see no issue with going. Have fun. Bye." The call disconnected as he slipped his phone into his pocket. "She said it is okay with her." Sylvia smiled as she started to walk past the row of houses. They walked and talked until they arrived at the station.

"So about Dante should we convince Huro and Antonio to kick him from the company?" Sylvia thought about it before she gave a one-word answer, "Yes." She didn't seem to want to talk about it. "Should we tell Huro that the company is at risk because of his past actions? Dante isn't a good person. But do you feel like we are being too hard on him?"

She looked at him before giving a quick and cold response, "No I don't." This silenced Stas and any attempts of him to press the matter. He thought of something to say but he really didn't have much to say. He decided to say silent until he had something useful to say.

The public announcement system activated and it dinged, "Tram 25 is on the route. It will follow the same route as Bus 25. Bus 25 to Shallen Grove is preparing to leave the station." They got onto an old tram. It wasn't the new hovering tram but it went on wires.

"So do you live in a house or like in an apartment? A tower block?" Sylvia thought and spoke, "I live in a 23-story tower block. I live on the eighth floor." The bus reached Edge Warren Square stop where the tram stopped as passengers started to get on. There were other students but no one paid them any mind. The tram stopped as it reached the roundabout and it drove through.

It made a turn at the third exit. And continued over the bridge and went to Sylvia tower block. It was a massive tower block that Stas never noticed and they abandoned the bus. They crossed the road and walked over to the tower block.

"Would your parents be okay with me?" Sylvia chuckled, "Yes if you can defend yourself. My dad will punch you once. Either you block, take it like a man, or dodge but if you show any type of pain, he will kick you out for being too weak."
