House

They entered the lobby. It was a red and wood-themed lobby. It looked like a very budgeted place. Sylvia and Stas walked toward the elevator and got in. It was smaller than a normal elevator. "So do you have any brothers or sisters?" Sylvia sighed and breathed out. "I have a brother and two sisters. They are all older. I'm the youngest."

They walked out of the elevator and took a left. The duo walked through a doorway that separated the elevator and the residents. They strolled through the door and walked to an apartment that had the number 83 on the door. "Act respect, don't come across as a bad person."

Sylvia knocked on the wooden and after a minute a woman came and opened the door. "Sylvia, how was sch-" She stopped mid-sentence to look at Stas and change her question. She started at him for a second, "Sweetie who's this?" Stas took in a deep breath before giving a response. "I am Stas Waygand and you are Sylvia's mother, I assume."

Stas stuck out his hand for a handshake. "You don't need to be so formal. Come in. Come in. Please leave your shoes at the door." She stepped back and turned around and walked down a hallway. "Sylvia take his bag and put it in your room." She walked down the hallway and Sylvia walked into the first room on her right. "Whose bag is that?" A guy's voice called out.

"It doesn't matter!" She responded and walked out she and Stas walked down the hallway to a living room. Stas and Sylvia walked into the living room which had 3 couches and one sofa chair which were adjacent to a TV. There were two girls and they just sat there on their phones. They looked up to see Stas, "Two weeks and she already has a boyfriend." Sylvia blushed.

"He's not my boyfriend." A voice came from behind Stas and it was loud, "What's all this talk about boyfriends?" Stas spun around to see a man who seemed to bare a slight resemblance to Sylvia. He was around size. "Who are you?" The guy said with a serious tone that seemed to get angry.

"I am Stas Waygand. I am Sylvia's friend and who might you be?" Stas put out a hand but it was slapped away by the guy. "I'm her brother. If you are her boyfriend beat it!" Stas just chuckled, "I assure you I am not your sister's boyfriend. I'm just one of her friends."

Another voice called out this was a deep voice, "Who is that, Sylvia? And don't try to fight them." A taller man around five foot nine inches walked out of a side room. He was wearing a camouflage uniform with a name tag and rank. "I am Stas Waygand, one of your daughter's friends."

The guy didn't seem offended by this or the possibility of Stas being Sylvia's boyfriend. The was a First Lieutenant and he had a scar across his face with a short beard. He walked past Stas as he spoke, "Dinner will be ready in ten. Please sit in the living room."
