Chapter 17: Saving More

Chronna went from one place to another with incredible speed, and she saw how people desperate for a fate that awaited them lost their minds.

Many tried to rob stores while others sang and danced in the streets; the frenzy reigned in that town when suddenly she looked at the first home with a baby.

Without stopping, the woman accelerated until she could no longer, and when she reached the door, knocked on her.

Chronna hit the door with force, as there was not much time to lose. But nobody responded.

Angrily she took something away and with force went through the window of that place.

Upon entering, she watched as a woman in her sixties watched a television turned off with frenzy.

She did not take her eyes off the black screen while in the backroom. He was a crying baby.

Chronna stood in front of her and hurriedly said, “I’ll take your baby, is that clear?”

But the lady did not react. She was completely absorbed by a thought that Chronna could not understand, but there was no time to lose.

She hurriedly approached and entered the room, and she saw the baby screaming desperately in her crib.

Taking the baby, she left the house and, with speed, went to the ship. When she arrived, she placed the baby in a small space arranged by the lizardman.

After seeing the time, she realized that the whole process had taken her about three minutes.

She wrinkled her face before she shot out of back towards the town.

There were really too many children to be able to rescue them all, but at that moment, he saw how Ethan, to one side, was carrying three babies that were suspended over him.

Surprised, Chronna intercepted him and asked hurriedly, “How do you do that?”

Ethan looked at her with some reprimand. He then pulled out a stabilizer before he said, “I was going to give you this! But you don’t listen to me! You can use it to bring the babies three at a time! But only three, if you put one more, it could damage the device!”

She took the device, and with a regretful smile, she shot off. She skated with great speed and just entering the town, and she saw a car rush over her.

She reacted with speed and jumping, dodged her blow, hit us with her skates from a wall.

Seeing that Chronna smiled and jumping back onto the floor, she began to move at full speed.

Her radar indicated that there was another baby very close to her, when she saw it it was a two-story building, she approached the front door but when she was about to enter this explosion.

Chronna passed the first floor quickly and then the second. Her height was good.

Without thinking, Chronna jumped from the building doing a deadly spin in the air aiming at the second-floor window of the burning building.

Entering the building, the girl managed to avoid the pressure so as not to fall and to keep her balance, and she saw the child’s crib on the other side of the room.

“Chronna, you are the best!”

But as she advanced, the floorboards glowed red hot, and volcanoes columns of flame began to appear.

Chronna panicked, the baby was still far away, and the flames were already breaking through the ground.

She began to skate at maximum speed in the direction of her crib. The columns of fire did not stop appearing, and she dodging them, all managed to reach the baby.

Chronna took him a drink and jumping out the window to avoid the explosion and the flare that chased her as she landed on the ground, looking at the danger that she had avoided.

She breathed hard as she checked to see if the baby had any injuries, but the girl just smiled and hurriedly activated her stabilizer. She then let the girl float like a star around her before Chronna started going to the next location.

While running, Chronna saw a woman with a baby in her hand running at full speed towards her.

Chronna advanced from her, and when she saw her, the woman gave her the baby and asked anxiously, “Are you Chronna?”

The girl looked at her and nodding something, surprised. She said, “Yes, I am! What’s going on!”

The woman on the verge of tears begged, “Please save my children!”

Chronna looked at the baby she was holding and said, “Sure! But how do you know who I am?”

The woman looked at her and said hurriedly, “A boy! Like you! She had three babies around her, she told me she would come back, but if she saw you, would you help me!“

She immediately thought of Ethan.

Chronna replied swiftly, “I’ll help her. Take me to her other child!”

The woman nodded gratefully and began to run. Chronna looked at her radar, and the lady was leading her in the direction of her house.

It was clear that there was another baby there, and Chronna had to take him out.

At the door of the house where they were going, a man was waiting for her, Chronna saw him, and something did not seem logical because only the lady was outside with the baby.

If both were together, the logical thing was that both were looking for help on the street.

Lightning rumbled, and Chronna, somewhat skeptical, came up to the house when she saw the man said, “The baby is inside the house! He comes in, and please save him as you want the most!”

Chronna was confused but saving the baby was the priority. She entered the house with the two babies floating around her.

The first thing she saw was two people on the ground. She did not understand what was happening and when she turned around, the man hit her with a guitar in the head.

Chronna fell to the ground, suddenly bleeding. She looked at the man with pain and disbelief.

“You thought we would die in this place! Your friend will come soon, and we will take his place!” The man said while smiling evilly.

Chronna didn’t understand what was happening, but her head was spinning as the woman smiled when she said, “You will die from the gas in five minutes, so neglect the explosion of the planet is irrelevant to you!”

Chronna got up as she could, she still had the babies flying around her, but the woman, without the slightest sign of remorse, closed the door after a loud laugh.

Chronna was trapped, and if she did not leave that place soon.
