Aiden's Heroic Comeback

Chapter 14

The waiter signaled his colleague to go ahead and present Aiden's bill to him. Everyone looked in anticipation, and Aiden was aware of their stares.

He took the bill and opened it up. It was just twenty-five thousand dollars. He remained unhinged as he looked at the bill and they were all surprised that there was no shocking reaction from him.

"How do you intend to pay, Sir?" The waiter asked him politely.

"How do you accept payment?" He asked the waiter.

"You can use a card and you can give us some cash as well," the waiter explained.

Aiden thought about it for a while. He would have used a card, but he thought that if he did, they would not know the amount that he was paying.

"I think I will give you some cash," he finally said with a smile. He then dipped his hand into his bag and took out three wads of cash, each of them containing ten thousand dollars.
