003 - An Almighty Dominant System

Seeing Clayton lying in the middle of the canteen with scattered chairs and tables around him, Caspian's eyes widened in astonishment.

He felt energy surge in him, and his body felt light. His vision became clearer, and the pain from the fall became less painful.

Caspian still couldn't comprehend what was going on with him. Suddenly, he hears a voice in his head. It sounded metallic and robotic.

Hearing the words in his head, Caspian felt he was hallucinating.

However, at the same time, he received a ding notification on his small phone. Checking through the message, Caspian's jaw dropped.

He rubbed his eyes, not believing what he was seeing. His almost zero-dollar account now has one million dollars.

‘How is this even possible?’

Caspian thought, still gazing at the number of zeros after the one.

{System Tasking: Caspian To unlock more income for your account, You need to make Bully, Clayton Davis, stop swearing within the next twenty-four hours.

Your reward for completing the task will be 100% of what you have received. If you fail to complete the mission, 50% of what you have now will be gone.}

Upon hearing the robotic voice again and the task it had assigned to him, Caspian looked around. His gaze falls on Clayton, who has gotten up from where he had fallen previously and is now glaring at him.

He gulped and cowered back. The system had asked him to stop Clayton from swearing, and he had no idea how he'd go about it.

Clayton stared at Caspian furiously. He felt humiliated to have lost his balance and fallen backward.

He turned around and walked up to Sarah, who was shivering fearfully at the side.

Placing his arms around her thin waist, he turned to Caspian and snickered.

“Fuck you, slum boy; I'll get back at you later.”

He mumbled. Rolling his eyes disdainfully, He led Sarah as they headed out.

The robotic voice sounded in his head again.

Caspian looked at Clayton, who was now in the corridor. He doesn't have the confidence to walk up to Clayton and punch his face to stop him from swearing.

Taking a deep breath, Caspian stood up from the ground and dusted off the dirt.

He saw Clayton still standing in the corridor and talking with Sarah.

His heart shattered as he recalled the harsh and brutal words she said to him.

He is not her type. She cannot love someone poor like him.

She does not appreciate any of his efforts to sponsor her to school and help her find a job, and he isn't comparable to Clayton, who bought the canteen for her. He is not her type, and he will be a poor and unwanted child.

As her words replayed in his head, Caspian clasped his fist tightly. Anger and regret clouded his eyes as he rushed over to them.

His steps were unsteady because he was still limping from the attack of the previous day.

Caspian got behind Clayton and raised his fist to punch him; however, his hands halted in the air as the scene of how he was beaten up replayed in his head.

Dropping his fist, he gritted his teeth and put his hands in his pocket, feeling agitated yet weak as he hurried away.

He did not dare to hit this arrogant and rude second-generation rich heir, as he could not bear seeing himself in the same sorry state he was in.

“Hey, Caspian, why the hell does this place look so messy?” Mrs. Hartford, the Head chef, yelled the moment she stepped out of the kitchen after getting reports that Caspian had conflicted with the new owner of the canteen.

“I'm sorry about this, Mrs. Hartford. I'll get this place arranged. Just give me a moment.” Caspian mumbled, and he quickly began setting up the chairs and tables.

“I should give you a moment. How dare you say that? Do you even know how difficult it was to clean up this place all alone today? You perforated human beings, do you?” She continues to shout out loud angrily as she takes off her chaff hat.

“I'm sorry, Mrs. Hartford; it wasn't intentional. I… I could not stand that my girlfriend left me, so it just happened. I'm sorry.”

Caspian continued to apologize as he rearranged the tables. But regardless, The head chef wasn't satisfied. She instead got irritated.

“Oh, so because your girlfriend has finally become an ex-girlfriend, you should destroy the canteen? Do you think this is your father's house, you stupid brat? Do you even have a father?

How did a moron like you manage to find a girlfriend? I feel so ashamed in her place. If I were her, I'd have long dumped you, smelly ass.

Who goes around dating idiots that are not only poor but are also worthless with small heads, small brains, and absolutely no positive future?”

Mrs. Hartford continued to rain insults on Caspian, but he tried to not reply and focus on the things he was doing despite the stabbing pain he was feeling.

“You got that point, Aunt; that's what I was trying to explain to him, but he isn't understanding. No one, not even a blind person, will accept being with him. How can it be me?” Sarah said sarcastically as she walked inside the canteen alongside Clayton.

“Oh, my Sarah, are you the girlfriend this crazy psycho was talking about? Great God, I reject evil for my niece.”

Mrs. Hartford exclaimed, looking stunned and disgusted at the same time.

“Exactly, Aunt, I reject living a pitiful and miserable life by dating a fool. That was the reason why, when Darling Clayton asked me out months ago, I readily accepted. He is so sweet, handsome, powerful, and rich. He loves me and spoils me a lot. He is one in the world.”

Upon hearing Sarah make such a cruel remark about him, Caspian raised his head to peek at her. He saw Clayton with a slight blush on his face and an arrogant smirk on his lips.

For the first time in years, he wondered what it was about her that made him swoon over her. She did not seem less beautiful than other ladies he had encountered in the canteen.

Lost in his thoughts, Caspian did not notice a chair on the side he was walking through and ended up colliding with the chair.

He missed his footing and fell, hitting the chair and breaking it in the process.

“Damn, you are fucking going to pay for that chair with your earnings this month. Do you even know how much it costs?” Clayton snapped as he glowered coldly at Caspian.

Caspian grimaced in pain, not caring about Clayton's words but the pain that was shooting from his legs.

“System triggered: The bully had just sworn. Make him stop swearing. Time is ticking.”

Caspian heard the robotic voice echo in his head reminding him of the task he must perform.
