Racheal shifted uneasily on the edge of the couch, her wrists already marked by the silk ropes that hung loosely at her sides. Adam stood across from her, rolling up the sleeves of his crisp black shirt, a wicked grin curling on his lips. He had dressed differently tonight—his usual sharp suits replaced with dark slacks and a plain black t-shirt, a cap pulled low over his face, and tinted glasses masking the gleam in his eyes. It was a disguise designed to unsettle, making him unrecognizable yet intimidating.

"Take a deep breath," Adam whispered, holding up the soft restraints with a lazy twirl. "It’s going to be a long night."

Racheal tried to muster her pride, but her defiance wavered as he stepped closer. "You can’t... You won’t—"

Adam crouched in front of her, his hands moving with steady precision as he guided her wrists together. “If you want the money,” he whispered, looping the silk around her skin, “you’ll do exactly as I say.”
