As the men and women professionally scuffled towards their seats, Levi pays attention to the figures sitting at the high-table.
On both sides, the seats were being filled by ministers and presidents of countries like India, Australia, Nigeria.
But the table in front seemed to be the VVIP among the other leaders as not just the Chairman of the Index, together with the four Branch Index heads were present but also the presidents of USA, South Africa, Russia and Japan were seated as well with all their security teams standing behind them.
Levi gulps a little and Lucy squeezes his hand again. “It’s going to be okay.” She whispered.
Levi looks down and notices her other hand shivering slightly. “Are you telling me or yourself?”
She follows his eyes to her shivering hand and clenches it into a fist, punching Levi with a little laugh. “Both. We’re getting through this together.”

About two days after the briefing, Levi and Lucy decided to go out for some ‘brother-sister’ bonding time at one of the Index’s main training halls. It was still around 10 in the morning and the agents already training there, stopped as they felt the rumbling and crashing sounds coming from one of the training room with the words ‘In-Use’ written over the entrance. Inside this room, one of the training droids smashes against the wall after being flung by Levi.
