Chapter Fourty-Seven

Suddenly, everyone gave him a standing ovation as soon as he stepped into the cafeteria for lunch. He was surprised and confused, even the chefs had to give him more portions of his meal unlike in the past.

He didn’t know what was going on, he kept on staring at his cellmate until they took their seats. Shortly after, a group approached him nervously - scratching their beards and heads. They were feeling shy and ashamed to turn over to the same person that they had mocked earlier. Everyone was still in disbelief as to who he was, because no one has ever confronted or won the jail lord in a fight for all these years. To them, he had made history.

“What’s going on?” Richester picked his meal as he rolled his eyes round them.

“Boss, is there anything you want us to do for you?” The group of prisoners asked him courteously and he scoffed.

“Seriously? Are you for real?” He looked at them and scanned the entire cafeteria until his eyes locked with Amos.
