Chapter Fourty-Eight

“Are you alright?” Damien asked as he passed Stella’s plate of steak that he had cut into bits.

“I’m fine.” She clicked something on her phone for a while before placing it down. “I never asked you to do this.” She rolled her eyes at the plate and back at him.

Damien shyly cleared his throat. “I’m sorry babe, I wanted it to be easier for you.” He figured and she sighed.

“Again, didn’t I tell you I wasn’t up for this? Why do you have to report to my mother?” Stella chewed in disgust. Recently, she wasn’t finding it fun spending time with Damien.

“We are a couple, Ella. Over the month, you have been the only one trying to get my attention. So, I’m only reciprocating.” He curled his lips. “Don’t you want me?” He raised a brow and she scoffed.

“Well, you aren’t too bad to live with. But, I’m no longer interested in you so don’t try to impress me. Dates are sore.” She scoffed curtly and he nodded.

“I’m planning on a one on one trip with you.” Damien suggested and she sat upright.
