The bold crafted letters were plastered on a duplex building “Befinance Investment Firm”, it was a small investment company who has one of the largest stock streams yet its sponsor or source was left unknown. They mostly do business with companies rather than individuals.

Stella took a last look at the environment before entering the building. The last time she came with Damien, she had a change of heart not because she never wanted the loan but because she wanted to do it behind Damien’s back. To her, it was an embarrassment to request a loan in the presence of her husband.

Unbeknownst to her, that was exactly what Damien wanted.

She knocked at the door and was asked to come in immediately, she exhaled and entered the office.

It was a small office, a brown desk filled with files and documents on it, there was a nameplate having “CEO Harold”. Aside from that, there were long comfy couches beside the wall, and in between the couches was a center table with a vase flower on it.
