Chapter Sixty-Eight

"I want you in my study room, Richester." Pia said to him seriously and he followed her immediately with no delay.

He respected her since she was the only family he had, especially since she was nice to him.

Her study was not so big but comfortable and nice. With the look and state, it was obvious that the study room had a lot of memories from both past and present.

"Grandma, hope all is well?" He broke the deadly silence as his grandmother was busy admiring the books in her library.

"Rich - -" She placed the book on her desk and approached him. "There is a favor I want you to do for me." Her voice became less hostile and filled with respect.

He quickly bowed: "You can ask me for anything, Granny." He said.

"Get married to a friend's daughter. She will be your shield and armor." She said seriously and Richester scoffed.

He was taken aback by her sudden offer.

"Grandma!" He called her seriously to get her attention and sense back in order but it seems she was more serious than he was.
