Chapter Eighty-Six

"Stop here." He instructed the taxi driver and the driver curbed the car to a corner, soon, another passenger entered the car. It was Dennis.

"I'm sorry for inconveniencing you with such communication means." Dennis sighed while he signaled the driver to start the engine.

"It's nothing. I'm used to it." He flashed him a smile.

"The news had spread to your stepfamily, I think they have reduced the eyes they pinned around you," Dennis assured him.

"That's good." He smiled, bringing out a document. "Here are the files from the agent, we have acquired the land. Building can commence anytime soon." He informed him.

"That's good. You have done well, Mr. Jamal." Dennis smirked, taking the documents. Then, Dennis gave him a long look.

"Sir, how are you coping with your new environment?" Dennis asked with a voice filled with concern.
