Chapter Fifty-One

"Have you done what I have asked?" Madam Felicia drank the red wine, tossing her crossed leg as she made a call. She was looking through the bustling city on the balcony where she sat.

"Good. Make sure everything is set and signed before they meet." A small smile formed on her lips.

As soon as she ended the call, Martins walked in, looking grumpy and annoyed.

"Mother, have you gotten the office memo?" Martins roughly sat beside her.

"Spell me. I'm no longer a board member, have you forgotten?" She rolled her eyes away from him disgustingly.

"Oh, that's true." Martins rubbed his forehead. "I still can't believe that with one word from that rat, you were no longer allowed to work in the company." Martins scoffed in disbelief.

"Is that a saying or you are making a mockery of me?" She asked with a hitch of annoyance in her voice with her sharp eyes darting at her son.

"I'm just saying because it's utterly annoying." Martins scoffed, closing his eyes briefly.
