Chapter Forty

“Don’t join me.” He stopped Dennis from entering the car, locking the door.

“Master, I must join you.” Dennis insisted, looking worried.

“This is my fight, you have guided and helped me enough. It is my turn to save my woman.” He said seriously, assuring him with a warm smile before starting the engine.

Though he wasn’t satisfied with the outcome, he decided to obey him for once and let him go.

His phone constantly rang and the caller was Mr. Alcantara. He knew the only reason for the call was to ginger him or ask him why he wasn’t being a Batman this time, thus he ignored the call and stepped on the throttle.

“Can I at least drink water?” Melanie asked exhaustively.
