Chapter One Hundred & Eight
The following morning, Oliver got a car from his neighbor and dropped them where the van had stopped.

“Thank you very much, Mr. Oliver.” He said as they stepped down.

“It’s nothing. I’m glad something like this happened.” Oliver paused and they gave him a long weird look. “I know it’s bad news on your end but for me, I have made money that would keep me going until another time,” Oliver explained to them and they sighed, after understanding where he was coming from.

“It’s all good.” They waved as Oliver entered the car and curbed the car into the street.

They exhaled heavily.

“People are really suffering in this part, don’t you think?” Clara murmured.

“No doubt.” They said almost in unison.

“Well, you should consider filling the car let’s get out of here!” The authoritative voice of one of the officers brought them back to reality.

“I’m really sorry for the mess that happened. Yesterday was really a long day for everyone.” He apologized calmly.
