“We have to leave, I mean, right now.” She stood up and immediately, he grabbed her hand.

“To where? It’s already late, babe. Let’s leave here first thing tomorrow morning.” He tried to talk her out but she remained adamant.

“It’s my father’s health we are talking about here, Jamal.” She looked at him seriously. “He must be worried especially since he hasn’t had any news from us.” She frowned.

“I know how you feel but what can we possibly do? Everywhere is dark, and we don’t have a car or petrol. We have to be patient.” He urged her calmly.

“Yeah, I tried earlier to connect but I was out of service. It seems there is a problem with this village.” Dennis added.

She sighed heavily before sitting roughly on the wooden chair.

“Sis, don’t be worried. I know how you and Uncle care about each other, he will be fine.” Clara tried to console her.

“Please, let’s try to leave first thing tomorrow morning.” She stood up and left, entering the room.
