Chapter One Hundred & Eighty-Nine

Melanie and Clara got to the van parked behind the building. Because Jamal didn't want them to get caught, he parked at a place far from the building. When Melanie and Clara got into the van, they waited patiently for both Jamal and Dennis, they were taking time to meet up so Melanie asked Clara to call them.

Clara called severally but nobody seemed to be picking up their calls.

“Let's keep waiting, I'm sure they will soon be out,” Clara hoped.

Melanie was too weak to hold a conversation but she knew within herself that Jamal and Dennis had been caught.
